Two Calgary businesses, same trade, different phone
Both are good at the job. One gets found, one doesn't. The difference isn't marketing spend. It's what Google can read when it visits.
What I find on the quiet site
- Service pages Google never indexed, so they can't rank at any price
- A homepage that takes six seconds on a phone, where local searches happen
- One page trying to cover every service and every suburb
- A Google profile and a website that name different services
- Two pages competing for the same search, so neither wins it
- A redesign that quietly dropped every old URL
What the busy site does instead
- Every service page indexed, checked in Search Console, not guessed
- Mobile vitals in the green on real Chrome data
- A page per service, each naming the job and the city
- Schema that matches the profile, so Google sees one business
- One owner page per search, with the rest pointing at it
- Redirects that kept the rankings through the redesign
None of that is clever. It's maintenance nobody did, and it's the whole gap between you and the business above you in Calgary.
What is bad technical SEO costing your Calgary business?
Do the arithmetic with your own numbers. This is an example of the maths, not a forecast.
Put your own job value in. If one extra job a month doesn't cover the package, don't book. I'd rather you keep the money.
Want to know what's actually broken first?
Bring your URL and read-only Search Console. You'll get the findings, ranked.
Calgary SEO services, priced before you book
Every project starts with the same call and the same read-only access. Local and technical SEO on WordPress and WooCommerce: what changes is how far you want it taken. Fixed prices, paid on Upwork.
Deep audit and growth report
An honest read on what's holding your WordPress site back in Google.
- WordPress SEO audit of indexing, speed and schema
- Fix list ranked by the clicks at stake
- Loom walkthrough of what I found
- Yours to keep, whoever does the work
Audit and fixes
For a site that needs the real problems found and fixed fast.
- Crawl, indexing, schema and speed fixes
- Before and after report with real numbers
- Core Web Vitals moved toward the green
- Everything documented and handed over
// Month to month: US$299 for site and SEO maintenance, US$750 for growth with maintenance. Book a call on Upwork.
Most owners don't know, and that's fine
Does this sound familiar?
- "Someone built it years ago and I've lost touch with him"
- "I don't know if it's WordPress, and I can't log in"
- "My web person and my SEO person blame each other"
- "I just know it's slow, and the phone isn't ringing"
Send the URL and I'll tell you
- What it's built on, inside a minute, at no charge
- Whether the search problems are fixable on the site you've got
- If it isn't WordPress and shouldn't move, I'll say that too
- What's a search problem for me, and what's a job for your web person
One person for the search side, start to finish.
Send the URL on Upwork. You'll know where you stand before you spend anything.
What kind of SEO does your Calgary site need?
Agencies sell "SEO" as one thing. It's four. Knowing which one your site is short of saves you paying for the other three.
There's a fifth now: being understood and referenced by AI answers, including Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode. Google's own guidance is that this needs no special markup or AI text file, just a crawlable, clear page, which is why GEO and AEO work sits inside the same projects rather than being sold separately.
No AI-search gimmicks either. I don't sell llms.txt as a Google ranking factor, I don't invent GEO schema Google doesn't ask for, and I won't promise that an AI answer will cite you, because nobody controls that.
What does a technical SEO consultant actually do?
Your project will use some of these, not all of them. The audit decides which, and the scope names them before you pay anything.
showing all 20
Not sure which of these your site needs? That is what the audit is for: you get the list, ranked by what each one is costing you, before anything else is agreed.
How does working with an SEO consultant actually run?
Book the call
Send your URL and read-only Search Console access. It takes two minutes, and the call is free.
Get the findings
What's broken, what it's costing in clicks, ranked. If a finding isn't in your own data, it doesn't go in the list.
Approve a fixed scope
A written scope, a date and a price on Upwork. You approve it before anything starts.
Fixes, then measurement
I do the work, one change per page per window, then you and I read the result in your data after four to eight weeks.
What happens in the first week after you hire me?
The call
Twenty to thirty minutes. You show me the site and what's worrying you, I tell you whether there's a real problem to fix.
Access and crawl
Read-only Search Console, then a full crawl of the site. Nothing changes on your site at this stage.
The findings
The written list, ordered by what each issue is costing you, with the screenshot behind every claim.
Scope, or stop
You either approve a fixed scope on Upwork, take the list to your own developer, or walk away. All three are fine.
How do you measure SEO results, without taking my word for it?
Search performance figures come from client Search Console data unless stated otherwise. Each has a case study you can read, including the parts that didn't work.
What I measure beyond rankings
A ranking is a diagnostic, not the result. It tells us whether a fix landed. What decides whether the work was worth buying is the calls and forms at the end of it, which is why the measurement date goes in the scope before anything starts.

“He took the time to understand our brief and broke down each step of the process so I was always clear on exactly what he was doing and what was coming next. Muhammad delivered a professional, well built site that looks fantastic.”
Verified Upwork review, 5.0 - website build
“Working with Muhammad to utilize his web development and SEO expertise was an exceptional experience from start to finish. His professionalism, creativity, and strategic approach significantly elevated our online presence!”
Verified Upwork review, 5.0 - website revision and SEO
“Great to work with. Got our website speed really fast and also dedicated to make a great work. We now score 100 on Google pagespeed insights…”

The full case studies, numbers and all
Eight projects, each with its own dates, its own Search Console figures and the rows that didn't go to plan left in.
Worth saying plainly: none of these eight is in Calgary. They're in Pakistan, Canada, the UK, Jamaica and four US states, because that's where the work came from. My Alberta evidence is a tile firm in Edmonton sitting at position 1.1 on its own name, on a site that took 862 clicks last quarter, and my own read of the Calgary map pack across 29 categories. Technical SEO doesn't change at the border, but you should judge the Alberta claim on the Alberta data, not on a jewellery store in Karachi. The Edmonton SEO page has that one in full.
GK Jewelers
A redesign cut its clicks to about a fifth of normal in three days. Redirects had it above the old level by 20 June, and it then doubled.
Lux Jewels
Two years and two agencies had produced nothing. She only signed because I offered to refund the lot if it stayed that way.
Bright Pathways ABA
610,963 impressions and 6,330 clicks in a quarter, with the brand holding position 1.1.
Scrap a Vehicle
From roughly 10 clicks a day in June to roughly 70 a day in September.
Areca Homes
117,541 impressions at average position 8.9, feeding villa bookings and enquiries from owners who want theirs managed.
Harmonized Getaways
Reach up 31% quarter on quarter, clicks up 16%, and the click rate down. All three are in the same picture.
Alpenglow Fireplace
Launched 9 August. A 7.42% click rate in the 28 days to 12 September, and the owner reports enquiries already coming in.
Arch and Handle
22 search clicks in a quarter, and two days later a $50,000 to $150,000 commercial enquiry through its qualifying form.
Three promises you can hold me to
On time, or discounted
Every project carries a committed date in the written scope. If I miss it, you get 10% off for every day it's late.
Green vitals, or free fixes
Speed projects ship with Core Web Vitals in the green on mobile. If they aren't, I keep fixing until they are, at no extra cost.
A reply in one business day
You'll never chase me for an update. Every message gets answered within one business day, usually much sooner.
All three sit in the terms, not just on this page. What I won't promise is a ranking position, because that's Google's call and not mine.
Should you hire an SEO consultant or a Calgary agency?
What you usually get
- A senior name on the sales call, a junior on the work
- A monthly retainer whether anything needs doing or not
- Reports full of scores, rankings and impression charts
- Three people between you and whoever edits the site
- Tools and plugins that stay theirs if you leave
What you get here
- The person who finds the problem is the one who fixes it
- A fixed scope for the work that's actually needed
- Findings tied to your own Search Console, or they don't ship
- You message me directly, and get an answer inside a business day
- Everything handed over, and you own all of it
Renting leads, or owning the pipe?
Plenty of Calgary trades buy their work from lead sellers. Rank and rent operators build a site, rank it for the trade, then sell each enquiry on. What a lead costs varies by trade and by how urgent the job is, and I have no measured figure for Calgary, so ask two sellers for their rate and you will know more than any number I could put here. What does not vary is the shape of it: you pay per enquiry, forever, and the price is theirs to set.
Buying leads from someone else's site
- You pay per lead, forever, and the price is theirs to raise
- Some sellers send the same enquiry to several businesses, depending on the deal
- You build no asset. Stop paying and the calls stop that day
- The customer's first impression belongs to their brand
Your own site doing the same job
- Enquiries arrive directly, with no cut taken
- They come from Google, and a site can surface in AI answers too where its information is eligible
- The asset is yours, and it can keep earning after the invoice, though rankings and demand move
- Your name is on the first impression
Keep buying leads while this gets built. I'd rather you did. Switch the tap off when your own site is bringing in work you'd have paid for anyway, and check that against your own numbers rather than mine. The $750 plan is the one that carries a written promise about it.
Stop renting. Start owning.
Book the call, and we'll work out whether your site can carry it.
Mobile business or no shopfront? Your Business Profile still matters
Half the trades I work with have no address the public can visit. A mobile windscreen fitter, a plumber running from a van, a consultant working from home. Google calls that a service area business, and it is set up differently.
Local SEO gets sold as one service, but Google summarises local results around relevance, distance and popularity, and its detailed guidance calls that third one prominence: how well known the business is, built on links and reviews as well as reputation. Distance is how far you are from whoever is searching, and no setting manufactures it. Prominence is yours to earn and I won't fake any part of it. Relevance is where most of the buyable work sits, and Google still decides how it reads what we give it.
Setup and optimisation is included in the audit and fixes package. What I won't do is post to your profile weekly or manage reviews for you, because that's your voice, not mine.
SEO for the Calgary areas you actually serve
Calgary is big enough that two businesses in the same trade can be chasing completely different customers. A plumber in the deep south west and one working out of the north east are not competing for the same call, and their sites shouldn't pretend to.
Worth building
- You actually work there and would take the job tomorrow
- There's something true and specific to say: response times, the sort of housing stock, permits, a job you've done
- People actually search for that service with that place attached
- The page can stand on its own without the city name doing all the work
Not worth building
- The same page with the suburb swapped, twenty times over
- Areas you'd quietly decline if the phone rang
- Communities listed for keyword coverage, with nothing behind them
- A quadrant page that repeats what the service page already said
The test is simple: if a page would still read true with another area's name dropped into it, it isn't earning its place. Same test applies to your NW, NE, SW and SE pages, and to Airdrie, Okotoks or Cochrane if you cross the city line. Those three markets don't behave like Calgary's, and the measured packs on the SEO in Airdrie, Okotoks SEO and Cochrane SEO pages show how far apart they sit. Start with the areas that carry the work. Add more only when there's something new to say.
Calgary's neighbourhoods, and how many deserve a page
Here's the list, so the question answers itself. Calgary has 258 named neighbourhoods, 207 of them residential. The median one holds about 5,610 people and 19 have fewer than a thousand. Read that against the doorway test above: a page for each would be 258 pages, most of them saying the same thing with a different name at the top.
What's worth building instead is usually the side of town, because that's the unit people actually use when they say where they are. Below, that's Northwest 62, Northeast 49, Southwest 80 and Southeast 67.
Names from Wikipedia's list of Calgary neighbourhoods, read on September 20, 2026. I'm not claiming to work in all of them, and neither should your site. The point of showing the whole list is that it makes the arithmetic obvious: pick the two or three where you actually do the work and can say something true, and let the service pages carry the rest.
Which Calgary businesses does this work for?
Local service businesses and stores on WordPress, where a call or a form is the goal. These are the trades I checked in the Calgary pack study. It's the market, not a guess.
Thousands of businesses here, one of me. So I don't cold call. I built this page instead: the tool, the numbers and the prices in one place, for the owner already looking. Your competitor can read it too.
Searching for an SEO expert near you in Calgary?
Calgary owners search for an SEO consultant near me, an SEO expert near me, an SEO specialist near me. Then they hire the closest office. Here's what nobody says: Google doesn't rank you on your consultant's postcode.
What a local office doesn't change
- Your Local Pack visibility, where relevance, distance and prominence all count
- Whether Google can index your service pages
- How fast your site loads on a customer's phone
- What your schema says about your business
What you should ask instead
- Can they show you client figures with dates, not testimonials alone
- Do they work on WordPress every day, or once a quarter
- Will one person do the work, or will it go to a junior
- Is the scope fixed and the money protected before you pay
Everything here runs over Zoom, Google Meet or messages, on Mountain Time, and you watch the same Search Console I do. If you'd rather have someone in the room, hire locally. I'd rather tell you that than pretend an office in Calgary would change your rankings.
Two free tools, and no email to hand over
Both run in your own browser, nothing gets uploaded, and they'll tell you something true about your site before you ever speak to me.
You build the sites. I'll make them rank.
Design studios in Calgary ship beautiful sites that never get found, then lose the client to whoever promises traffic. That's a technical gap, not a design one, and it's the part I do.
The awkward conversation
- The site launches and the traffic drops, because the URLs changed
- The client asks about Google, and nobody on the team owns the answer
- An SEO agency arrives, blames the build, and takes the retainer
- You get the blame for a problem nobody was hired to solve
White label, in your name
- Technical work under your brand, your client never hears my name
- Pre-launch checks, so the redirects and the rankings survive
- Organic growth without buying backlinks, because the fixes are on the site
- A written report you can hand over as your own
- Fixed scope per project. No commission, no client poaching
Run a studio in Calgary?
Send me one client site. If there's nothing worth fixing, I'll tell you that too.
Who should buy Calgary SEO services?
Worth booking
- You run a small business site, on WordPress or WooCommerce, or you're ready to move to one
- You want more calls, and you suspect the website is what's in the way
- A redesign or move is coming up, or one already cost you rankings, and you need the search side handled
- You want the person who finds the problem to be the one who fixes it
- You'd rather buy a fixed scope than a monthly retainer
Don't book
- You want Google Business Profile posts, reviews or citations managed
- You want link building or paid ads
- You want a guaranteed position by a date
- Your site is on Wix or Squarespace and staying there
- You want an agency with account managers and monthly reports
One person, and you can check him
What I actually do
Muhammad Younus, WordPress technical SEO consultant. Based in Karachi, Pakistan, working with Alberta clients remotely on Mountain Time hours. Page first published 17 September 2026, last updated 28 September 2026.
I do the technical and local SEO of small business websites. Owners and agencies, remotely, on Mountain Time hours for Alberta clients. WordPress and WooCommerce are the platforms I work on, and there's no team here. The person who reads your Search Console is the person who writes the redirects, and the person who answers your messages.
My work is on Upwork, with the review history public, and eight projects are written up here with their figures and their dates, including the results that stalled. More about how I work.
Four minutes of due diligence
- Read a case study and check the dates against the figures
- Open my Upwork profile and read the reviews from clients
- Ask me on the call to show the Search Console screen behind a number
- Start with the audit, and stop there if the findings don't convince you
What you keep when the work ends
The change log
Every fix documented, with what changed and why, so your next developer isn't guessing.
Your own accounts
Hosting, licences, Search Console and analytics stay in your name. I hold nothing hostage.
No dependency on me
Nothing on your site needs me to stay. Remove my access and it keeps working exactly the same.
A measurement date
We agree when to read the result, and I'll tell you plainly if a change did nothing.
Bring three things, and the call is quick
Your URL
That's enough to start. I'll have looked at the site before we speak.
Read-only Search Console
Two minutes to grant, and it's the difference between opinions and evidence. I'll set it up if you don't have it.
What you want more of
Calls, quote forms, orders or bookings. The fixes get prioritised around that, not around a score.
And if you'd rather see the numbers first
I checked the live map pack across 29 Calgary service categories. 27 came back mature, meaning the businesses showing were already established on reviews and presence, and only 2 were still contested. Where a market looks like that, website relevance and technical quality are more likely to be what separates close competitors, though no single layer decides the pack on its own.
What that means in practice is that Calgary is a tie-break market. In the typical Calgary pack the middle business holds 275 reviews, and the average top count is 1,560, so nobody is walking into a pack on presence alone. 2 of 29 categories are still open enough to be worth a straight run at. For the other 27, the work that moves you is the work your competitor hasn't done, and most of it is technical.
On the call I'll walk you through the rows you actually compete in, not all 29 of them.
How settled each Calgary pack is, vertical by vertical
Searched as each service followed by "Calgary" in Google's local results. For each vertical: the most reviews any listing in the pack had, the median, and the grade that follows from them. Review counts change daily, so treat these as a snapshot from 8 September 2026.
| Vertical | Top count | Median | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| HVAC and furnace | 8,500 | 4,400 | mature |
| Dentists | 5,200 | 1,300 | mature |
| Plumbers | 4,800 | 932 | mature |
| Veterinary clinics | 2,400 | 932 | mature |
| Garage doors | 2,800 | 825 | mature |
| Optometrists | 1,600 | 815 | mature |
| Mortgage brokers | 1,900 | 650 | mature |
| Chiropractors and physio | 727 | 528 | mature |
| Pest control | 1,100 | 426 | mature |
| Auto repair | 579 | 385 | mature |
| Cleaning services | 647 | 326 | mature |
| Electricians | 1,400 | 294 | mature |
| Insurance brokers | 2,500 | 291 | mature |
| Med spas and aesthetics | 454 | 288 | mature |
| Gyms and studios | 1,600 | 275 | mature |
| Glass and window | 1,500 | 265 | mature |
| Painters | 1,000 | 238 | mature |
| Law firms | 804 | 220 | mature |
| Clinics and family medicine | 706 | 219 | mature |
| Roofers | 1,300 | 180 | mature |
| Real estate | 383 | 174 | mature |
| Flooring and tile | 677 | 160 | mature |
| Landscaping and lawn | 351 | 131 | mature |
| Towing | 238 | 88 | mature |
| Accountants and bookkeepers | 478 | 82 | mature |
| Security and alarms | 434 | 75 | mature |
| Water and fire restoration | 580 | 74 | mature |
| Concrete and paving | 515 | 56 | contested |
| IT and managed services | 54 | 34 | contested |
Read the HVAC row before you read any of the others. The median there is 4,400 reviews, which is not a number a new business reaches by asking nicely, and the top of that pack sits at 8,500. That's the hardest local pack I've measured anywhere in Alberta, and it's decided on the things reviews don't cover. At the other end, concrete and paving and IT and managed services are the only two categories here still graded contested, which makes them the two worth a direct run at.
Who shows up when Calgary owners search for SEO help?
These were the top ten organic results in my pull of 8 September 2026, counted by the kind of page each one is rather than named. I'm not rating anyone, just showing you what a Calgary owner sees before they call anyone.
On 8 September 2026, 3 of the ten weren't agency service pages at all. They were directories and ranked lists of agencies, the kind that sell placement on the list. When I checked "calgary seo services" again on 27 September, directories or list pages held four of the ten. That's worth knowing before you treat a top ten position here as a verdict on quality. Smaller Alberta markets usually show fewer directories for this search, though Red Deer, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat each had one on 27 September 2026.
Calgary SEO services, the honest answers
Do I need an SEO consultant near me, in Calgary?
No, and it's worth knowing why. Google ranks your business on your address, your reviews and your website, not on where your consultant sits. Every Calgary project here runs over Zoom, Google Meet or messages, and you see the same Search Console data I do. What matters is that the person doing the work knows WordPress, and that you can check their results.
How much does SEO cost in Calgary?
The packages above are the prices, in US dollars: $149 for the audit and $999 for the audit and fixes. Month to month, it's $299 for maintenance or $750 for growth, with no minimum term. You pay on Upwork. You can stop after any milestone. If you're looking for affordable SEO in Calgary, the $149 audit is the cheapest honest way to find out whether you need anything more, and it's yours to keep whoever does the work.
Do you do technical SEO audits for Calgary websites?
Yes, and it's where most Calgary projects start. The technical SEO audit covers indexing, speed, schema and structure, a competitor gap against the pages above you, and a growth plan in order, with every issue ranked by what it's costing you. It's a website SEO audit read from your own Search Console and a full crawl, not a score from a free tool.
Do you offer website maintenance for Calgary businesses?
Yes, remotely. The $299 monthly plan keeps updates, backups and uptime watched, checks Search Console for new errors, keeps speed and vitals in the green and covers small content and page edits. You can cancel any month. It's there because the commonest problem I find on Calgary sites isn't a missing tactic, it's maintenance nobody did.
Can you fix a site a previous SEO company damaged?
Usually, and the first job is working out what actually happened. A traffic fall after a redesign, a plugin change or a burst of cheap links each leaves a different trace in Search Console. Traffic drop and penalty recovery is its own service here: the fall diagnosed from your data first, then the fix scoped and priced before anything is touched.
What should I check before I hire an SEO consultant in Calgary?
Four things, and they take about four minutes. Read one of their case studies and check the dates against the figures. Read their client reviews where they can't be edited. Ask to see the Search Console screen behind a number they quote. And start small, with an audit, so you can stop if the findings don't convince you. I'd ask you to do all four to me as well.
What should monthly SEO reporting actually show?
Three things, in this order: what Search Console says about impressions, queries, clicks and indexing; what GA4 says visitors did after they landed; and whether any of it ended in a call, a form or an order. A ranking chart on its own is a diagnostic, not a result. If a report can't tell you which enquiries came from search, it's reporting activity rather than outcomes.
How long before I see anything change?
Four to eight weeks before either of us judges a change, because that's how long Google takes to recrawl and settle. Some fixes show up faster, like pages that were never indexed, and speed work shows in field data inside a month.
Can you guarantee a number one ranking in Calgary?
No, and nobody truthfully can. What I guarantee is in writing: the date, the vitals, and a reply within one business day. Rankings are Google's call, and anyone selling you a position is selling you a story.
Will you manage my Google Business Profile and reviews?
No. Your Business Profile is central to the map side, but Google weighs relevance, distance and popularity together, and I don't manage or fake reviews. I fix the website your profile points at, align the two, and tell you plainly where they disagree.
What do you need from me to start?
Your URL and read-only Search Console access, which takes two minutes to grant. If you don't have Search Console, I'll set it up for you on the call. WordPress admin access comes later, only when you approve fixes.
My site is on Wix, Squarespace or Shopify. Can you help?
Not on Wix or Squarespace. WordPress and WooCommerce are what I work on all day, and that focus is the reason the fixes are quick. If you're planning a move to WordPress, that's a migration project and it's in scope.
What if you find nothing worth fixing?
Then I'll say so, and you'll have paid nothing to find out. It happens, and I'd rather tell you than sell you work your site doesn't need.
Why pay through Upwork instead of an invoice?
Because it protects you. The scope, the milestones and the payments sit there, you can read my full review history before hiring, and nothing gets billed outside it.
Do you work with agencies in Calgary as a white label?
Yes. Several of the case studies are work done under someone else's brand. Your client never has to hear my name, and I don't approach them.
Do you build websites, or only fix them?
I fix them. The scope here is technical and local SEO on WordPress and WooCommerce, so design and build work stays with your developer. What you get from me is the search side: what's stopping Google indexing and ranking the site you've got, fixed and then measured in your own Search Console.
Can you keep my rankings through a redesign?
That's the search side of it, and it's the part I do. Your designer builds the new site. A redesign loses traffic when the URLs change and nobody maps them, so I inventory every page you rank for, map each one to its new address, and watch Search Console for four to eight weeks afterwards.
I don't know what my website is built on. Can you still help?
Send me the URL and I'll tell you what it runs on in a minute, at no charge. Most owners have no idea, and there's no reason they should. If it's WordPress or WooCommerce I can work on it directly. If it isn't, I'll tell you plainly whether moving is worth it.
What does an SEO consultant actually do all day?
On a technical project: crawl your site, read your Search Console, find what Google can't reach or won't rank, then fix it in WordPress. It's closer to maintenance and diagnosis than to marketing, and most of the work happens in your site's code and structure rather than in a content calendar.
Is SEO still worth it in 2026, with AI answers everywhere?
It changed, and it didn't die. The same foundational SEO practices remain relevant to AI Overviews and AI Mode. A page still needs to be crawlable, indexed and eligible for Search, and Google does not require special AI markup or files. What's gone is the free traffic from thin content that answered a question in two lines, so technical work matters more now rather than less.
Which SEO plugin is best for a WordPress site?
Whichever one you already run, set up properly. Rank Math, Yoast and All in One SEO all handle titles, meta, sitemaps and schema. Switching plugins rarely moves a ranking; running two at once will break your canonicals, and that I do see on Calgary sites.
Can I just use ChatGPT to audit my site?
For learning, yes. For an audit, it can't see your Search Console, your crawl data or your field vitals, so it guesses from your page's text. You'll get plausible-sounding advice that isn't tied to what your site is actually losing. Use it to understand my findings, not to replace them.
How is this different from Google Ads?
Ads stop placing you the day the spend stops. Fixing the site underneath doesn't charge you per click, so organic visibility can carry on, but it still depends on Google, your competitors and demand rather than running forever on its own. Plenty of Calgary businesses need both, and I'll tell you plainly if ads are the faster route for your situation.
Can SEO reduce what I spend on ads and paid leads?
It can reduce the reliance, which is the part that matters. Ads and paid lead platforms buy visibility today; organic search builds a second channel that keeps returning clicks without a cost per click attached to each one. That's not the same as free, because the work costs money. The realistic goal isn't switching ads off, it's not being in trouble the month you have to pause them. Keep spending while this gets built, and read both channels in the same GA4 and Search Console before you change anything.
What happens to my site if we stop working together?
Nothing breaks. You own the site, the licences and the change log, there's no plugin of mine holding it together, and no access I keep. Everything is handed over in writing.
To recap, here's what you're getting
- A free call, and an honest answer on whether anything's worth fixing
- Findings tied to your own Search Console, ranked by what they cost
- The fixes done by the person who found the problem
- Three written guarantees: the date, the vitals, and a reply in one business day
- Everything owned by you, with a change log, and no lock-in
No card and no form. Upwork holds the scope and the money.
