WordPress SEO case studies, with real numbers
These WordPress SEO case studies cover eight client sites, and every figure was read from the Google Search Console property that's named on the page, over a window that's stated. Each one says what I did and carries the number that isn't good yet, because a case study that only shows its best figure is an advert. If you'd like to have your own site read the same way, send me the URL.
Every WordPress SEO case study, with its headline figure
GK Jewelers
A redesign cut its clicks to about a fifth of normal in three days. Redirects had it above the old level by 20 June, and it then doubled.
Lux Jewels
Two years and two agencies had produced nothing. She only signed because I offered to refund the lot if it stayed that way.
Bright Pathways ABA
610,963 impressions and 6,330 clicks in a quarter, with the brand holding position 1.1.
Scrap a Vehicle
From roughly 10 clicks a day in June to roughly 70 a day in September.
Areca Homes
117,541 impressions at average position 8.9, feeding villa bookings and enquiries from owners who want theirs managed.
Harmonized Getaways
Reach up 31% quarter on quarter, clicks up 16%, and the click rate down. All three are in the same picture.
Alpenglow Fireplace
Launched 9 August. A 7.42% click rate in the 28 days to 12 September, and the owner reports enquiries already coming in.
Arch and Handle
22 search clicks in a quarter, and two days later a $50,000 to $150,000 commercial enquiry through its qualifying form.

Which service does each one prove?
Each case study backs one of the services, so you can read the proof for the problem you've actually got.
Eight, because eight is what I can show you
I've worked on more than a hundred WordPress sites, on my own rather than through a team, and the WordPress SEO consulting side of that work is what these pages measure. These are the ones where I still have Search Console access, so they're the ones whose numbers I can pull on demand rather than remember. If I can't open the property, it isn't going on this page.
You'll notice some of them aren't doing well. Arch and Handle sits at position 33 and isn't ranking. Areca Homes gets shown 117,000 times a quarter and clicked under 1% of the time. Harmonized Getaways gained a third more reach and it's lost click rate doing it. They're here because leaving them out would make GK Jewelers look like the normal result, and it isn't.
The ones that are working don't look like overnight wins either. Scrap a Vehicle took three months to go from 10 clicks a day to 70, and it's still mostly on page two. GK Jewelers only looks like a rescue because a redesign broke it first. That's what this work actually looks like.
Questions about these WordPress SEO case studies
Are these results typical?
No two sites are alike. These eight include the ones that aren't doing well yet, so you can see the range rather than only the best case.
Can you get my site the same numbers?
Nobody can promise that, and I won't. What I can do is diagnose your site the same way and report the result in your own Search Console.
Can I speak to one of these clients?
I don't pass on client contact details, but every review on my Upwork profile comes from a verified contract, and each case study names the live site so you can check it.
Why is every figure from Search Console?
Because it's the one source you can verify yourself, and it's what Google itself reports. Rank tracker estimates and traffic tools don't go on these pages.
What does an SEO case study explain?
It should explain what was wrong, what was done about it and what changed, with a source and a date range for every number. Each one here names the Search Console property and the window, says in the first person what I did, and shows the figure that still isn't good.
Is there a case study from Alberta?
Not among these eight. They're in Washington State, the Washington DC area, Jamaica, Texas and Colorado, Pakistan, Vancouver, Virginia and the UK. If you're in Calgary, my Calgary SEO consultant page shows the map pack data I start from there.
