Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026These terms cover services purchased from WP Technical SEO Consultant. They're written to be read, not to hide things. Engagements booked through Upwork are additionally governed by Upwork's own terms.
What you're buying
Each package on the pricing page lists a named scope, deliverable, and timeframe. That listing is the agreement: work inside the scope is included, work outside it is quoted separately before it happens. Timeframes start when I have the access I need, not at payment.
Payment
Packages are fixed-price, agreed and paid before work begins, by the method we confirm over email or through Upwork. If a site turns out to be substantially larger than a package's stated limits, I'll pause and quote the difference rather than deliver a thinner version silently.
Access and safety
You agree to provide the WordPress and Search Console access the work requires, and you confirm you're authorized to grant it. I work on staging copies or in low-risk windows, change one thing at a time, and keep a record of changes. You should keep your own backups too; I'll always take one before starting.
No ranking guarantees
I don't guarantee rankings, traffic numbers, or AI citations, and these terms are explicit about that because nobody can honestly promise outcomes controlled by Google, OpenAI, or your competitors. What's guaranteed is the delivery of each package's named scope and an honest report of what changed.
Revisions and support
Each deliverable includes reasonable clarification and correction of anything that doesn't match its stated scope. Packages that list post-delivery support include it for the stated period; new requests beyond scope are new work.
Ending an engagement
Either of us can end an engagement before completion. If you cancel, you pay for work completed to that point and receive everything produced so far. If I cancel, you're refunded for anything not delivered.
Liability
My liability for any engagement is capped at the amount you paid for it. I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, or for changes made to your site by others after delivery.
